Robert Half Business Development Representative in Pflugerville, Texas
Description We are searching for a Business Development Representative to join our team in Pflugerville, Texas. This role involves generating potential commercial customers and engaging them in discussions about their business needs. You will be responsible for scheduling customer appointments and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market conditions.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with prospective commercial customers through strategic cold calling initiatives.
• Deliver our value proposition to potential customers, sparking interest and generating leads.
• Schedule and follow up on customer appointments in a timely manner, ensuring continuous engagement.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of market conditions and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
• Analyze customer business models to understand their fleet needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP to effectively manage customer accounts.
• Proactively monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Leverage your experience in sales and meeting exceeding sales targets to drive business growth.
• Utilize CRM tools for sales tracking and management, ensuring efficient workflow and accurate record keeping. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Billing and Data Entry is required
• Expertise in Invoice Processing is necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
• Familiarity with Oracle software is needed
• Experience with QuickBooks is essential
• Knowledge of SAP software is required
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven track record in sales or business development
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred.
