Junior Litigation Associate - Philadelphia, PA

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively manage litigation cases from inception to conclusion in both state and federal courts, conducting comprehensive legal analysis and crafting strategic recommendations.
Handle depositions of key witnesses, including plaintiffs, and effectively communicate case updates to clients.
Collaborate with paralegals to ensure efficient case management, including drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
Utilize e-Discovery tools for managing discovery requests and responses, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal standards.
Apply expertise in civil litigation, toxic torts, and mass torts to navigate complex legal issues and contribute to case strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an accredited institution.
State Bar admission and 1 year to 5+ years of litigation experience, specifically in mass tort and asbestos litigation.
Proven proficiency in civil litigation, toxic torts, and the ability to defend depositions, as well as summarize and handle them effectively.
Strong skills in case management, legal research, and legal writing, with experience drafting legal briefs, correspondence, and memoranda.
Familiarity with federal and state laws, as well as commercial law, is essential.
