Description
We are offering an opportunity for a meticulous Accounting/Finance Clerk to join our client's team located in the Philadelphia region. In this Accounting/Finance Clerk role, you will be responsible for processing vendor bills, accounting card transactions, digitalizing and maintaining documents, resolving payment related issues, etc.. The Accounting/Finance Clerk will collaborate and communicate with the accounting team to support the financial operations in the organization.
Responsibilities:
Process assigned finance accounts
Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders on payment procedures
Record debit/credit card transactions following established protocols
Manage receipt deposits and maintain accurate deposit records
Support bank reconciliation and manage vendor payments
Handle and distribute incoming finance mail according to standard procedures
Keep digital records of financial documents as per departmental guidelines
Address payment inquiries with vendors and internal stakeholders
Execute additional tasks as directed by the Accounting Supervisor
Requirements
The ideal Accounting/Finance Clerk candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.
Other requirements for the Accounting/Finance Clerk position include and are not limited to:
2+ years experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with especially strong Excel skills
Excellent support skills, ability to work well under pressure, professional demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills.
