Robert Half Accounts Receivable Associate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Robert Half is in search for an Accounts Receivable Associate to join the rapidly expanding team at a company. In this Accounts Receivable Associate role, your responsibilities will include entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining a cash receipting journal, and updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. This permanent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk is in the Philadelphia area.
Post and balance financial information in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts
Communicate with clients to settle payment issues and help create a payment plan
Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks
Confirm documents and codes are correct
Process payments and compiling segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
Supply shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders with information as requested
The ideal Accounts Receivable Associate candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CWCP certification preferred.
Other requirements for the Accounts Receivable Associate position include and are not limited to:
2+ years’ accounts receivable experience
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with especially strong Excel skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Ability to multitask and to be a self-starter.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
