Robert Half Bookkeeper/Office Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Description
Well-respected services company located in Greater Philadelphia region is looking to staff a thorough Bookkeeper/Office Manager with familiarity working with construction software. In this Bookkeeper/Office Manager role, you will assist with accounts receivable/payable, process AIA billing documents, manage project costs, administrative tasks, maintain inventory of office supplies, process client invoices, and perform bank account reconciliation. The ideal individual will keep the company aligned with compliance by following general accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Accurately and swiftly process customer credit applications
Maintain up-to-date customer credit records
Address customer credit inquiries promptly and effectively
Regularly monitor customer credit accounts
Take appropriate measures to recover overdue payments
Organize and distribute mail as needed
Record employee attendance and manage related documentation
Oversee general office duties and manage supply procurement
Process all invoices and reconcile statements within Accounts Payable
Manage invoicing within Accounts Receivable
Conduct weekly collections outreach and compile reports
Employ QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other software for bookkeeping and data entry tasks
Reconcile bank accounts and execute other necessary reconciliation activities
Requirements
The ideal Bookkeeper/Office Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.
Other requirements for the Bookkeeper/Office Manager position include and are not limited to:
2+ years of bookkeeping and office management experience
Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Suite
Construction documents knowledge preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
