Description
Robert Half is looking for a dedicated CFO to join our client's team in the Education industry based in the Philadelphia region. In this CFO role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all financial matters, collaborating with key personnel on operational and strategic plans, and managing relationships with external stakeholders such as insurance brokers and legal counsel. This CFO role is integral to the financial health and success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary staff person responsible for all financial matters, including: contracts, insurance, regulatory reporting and related interaction with state and other governmental entities.
Oversees capital and operations and budgetary planning in alignment with the Strategic Plan.
Collaborates with Human Resources on Staffing, payroll, pension, and other areas as applicable
Coordinates the annual financial audit, Forms 990 and 5500 reporting and pension plan audits for OSB.
Requirements
The ideal CFO candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Other requirements for the CFO position include and are not limited to:
5+ years of experience as CFO or Director of Finance.
3+ years of management experience.
Non-profit experience.
Experience with SAGE 100
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
