Description
We are offering an opportunity to join our team as a Communication Specialist in the education industry, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting integrated communications plans to enhance brand awareness, marketing and recruitment efforts, and student engagement throughout their educational journey.
This is an as needed freelance opportunity!
Responsibilities:
• Develop a range of brand-aligned communications including news/feature stories, student testimonials, and internal/external emails.
• Provide content development support as required.
• Create and manage web content.
• Participate in project management and perform other duties as assigned.
• Develop communications that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
• Assist in the development of successful communications for recruitment, fundraising, and external engagement.
• Copyedit for brand and style content generated by team members or stakeholders.
• Use Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe InDesign, and other related software for content creation and management.
• Work with the Content Management System (CMS) for website content management.
• Develop and execute campaign plans to increase brand awareness.
• Utilize various skills such as blogging and creating brochures and advertisements.
This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe InDesign
• Knowledge of Assertion Markup Language
• Experience with CAD Software
• Ability to work with Content Management System (CMS)
• Demonstrated skills in creating Advertisements
• Experience with Blogging
• Familiarity with developing Brand Awareness strategies
• Proven ability to design Brochures
• Experience with Campaign Planning
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
