Robert Half International Controller in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania
Robert Half Finance is seeking an ambitious Controller to become a vital part at an esteemed services company. In this leadership position, you will direct an accounting and clerical department. As the Controller, you will be planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff. Cash management including monitoring/managing cash flow
General Ledger management - monthly closing processes - AP/AR aging, journal entries, etc.
Manage Accounts Payable process including invoice entry, release of liens, timely invoice payment
Manage Accounts Receivable by overseeing monthly progress billings and working with Project Managers to keep Accounts Receivables current
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly tax returns for federal, state and local jurisdictions as necessary
Manage the employee benefits - medical insurance, 401 k, etc.
Prepare weekly Certified Payroll reports as required
The ideal Controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA preferred.
Other requirements for the Controller position include and are not limited to:
5++ years of Construction Accounting experience
Experience with Job Costing and Percentage of Completion required
Software experience with Sage Products preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Strong analytical skills
