Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Facilities Assistant located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Facilities Assistant, this role involves significant interaction with transportation personnel and requires strong attention to detail and adaptability. The position is based in an office environment within the shipping and logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a primary point of contact for truck drivers and escorts.
• Generate and distribute essential paperwork to drivers.
• Ensure all driver slips are accurately scanned, printed, and highlighted with all necessary information.
• Handle multiple customer requirements, remembering specific needs and procedures for each.
• Manage lunch arrangements until the provision of a Transportation Workers Identification Credential.
• Utilize software platforms such as Office Suite, Google Suite, and WMS Software for various tasks.
• Maintain punctuality at all times.
• Balance working independently and as part of a team.
• Utilize skills in CMMS, Computerized Maintenance Management, Concur, IBM AS/400, Kronos Timekeeping System, About Time, and Budget Processes.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, particularly in a business setting.
Requirements
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is necessary.
• Knowledge in using Concur software.
• Proficiency in IBM AS/400 system operation.
• Experience with Kronos Timekeeping System is required.
• Understanding of the 'About Time' tool is beneficial.
• Demonstrable skills in budget processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage and maintain conference rooms.
