Description

Robert Half as a new job opening for a skilled Financial Analysts based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area. There is an opening for a Financial Analyst, who will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This person will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management will also be part of this position. As a Financial Analyst Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process by working with Accounting

  • Study performance to date and examine potential risks and opportunities

  • Produce and manage forecasting reports

  • Authenticate routine Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting

  • Manage monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

  • Empower effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

  • Review annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations

    Requirements

The ideal Financial Analyst candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree in finance or a related field

  • Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

  • Spreadsheet and ERP system experience preferred

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Supply chain management experience desired

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience prioritized)

  • Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
