As a Financial Analyst Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Provide financial planning and reporting for new programs, capital projects, and business ventures.

• Prepare necessary financial reports for new programs, capital projects, and business ventures.

• Administer contracts and grants for new projects during the startup phase.

• Maintain document retention systems related to new programs, capital projects, and business ventures.

• Hold preliminary discussions of apparent deficiencies and operating deficits with department directors to verify and obtain explanations of reasons for each apparent deficiency.

• Review and provide analysis of quarterly financial statements and complete ratio analysis.

• Participate in the balancing, and reconciliation of assigned general ledger and subsidiary accounts including fixed assets and construction in progress.

• Assist with the completion of IRS 990s and year-end audit schedules and notes.

• Provide required financial reports and documents for real estate transactions, financing, and refinancing of certain loan facilities.

• Offer financial support services and ad hoc financial analysis as requested.

Requirements

The ideal Financial Analyst candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required, Master's degree preferred

• Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are desirable

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions

• Background in Finance within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries

• Proficient in CapEx analysis and management

• Strong understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Knowledge of Budget Processes

• Experience with Expense Reporting

• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports

• Strong communication skills to effectively present information and respond to queries from management and colleagues

• Must possess critical thinking skills, quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills with ability to interpret financial data

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint

• Proven track record of driving results and meeting financial objectives.
