Robert Half International Financial Operations Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities within the firm including, but not limited to, budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation, profit and loss reporting, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable collection, tax compliance, payroll, and auditing. Based in the Philadelphia area, this Financial Operations Manager position is a terrific opportunity for full-time employment.

Major responsibilities:

  • Manage account payables and receivables activities.

  • Supervise the daily operational tasks of the credit and collections team.

  • Develop financial goals and objectives for the team.

  • Conduct finance audit periodically and recommend improvements.

  • Develop financial policies and procedures for operational efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain financial statements for future reference.

  • Assist Senior Managers in financial management and reporting activities.

  • Ensure that financial operational activities are executed and delivered as per the standards set by the company.

    Requirements

The ideal Financial Operations Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA preferred.

Other requirements for the Financial Operations Manager position include and are not limited to:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability to provide detailed accounting support

  • Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices

  • Inventory and eCommerce experience preferred

  • Experience supporting businesses with $1M+ revenue

  • QBO and QB Desktop a must, Xero, Bill.com and other cloud-based applications preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience interacting with peer leaders;

  • Good oral and written communications skills;
