Robert Half Financial Planning Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

We are in search of a Financial Planning Analyst to join our client's team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is centered around assisting with the wealth management and financial planning needs of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support with daily account administration, investment proposal, and performance review preparation, as well as preparing deliverables that cover all areas of Financial Planning.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare materials for client meetings

• Compile monthly and quarterly reports on portfolio performance

• Monitor and update client asset allocations

• Conduct due diligence on investment mutual funds, ETF's, separate account managers, and hedge funds

• Prepare quarterly tax projections

• Manage the administration of client relationships including account openings, alternative investment subscriptions, and various custodian-related paperwork

• Assist in the preparation and/or review of select client income tax returns (Forms 1040, etc.)

• Support the team by providing operational functions such as money movement (i.e. wire and journals), account creation and maintenance

• Handle ad hoc project management and portfolio performance updates

• Maintain database management.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or in the field of financial planning.

• Proficiency in creating and analyzing Annual Financial Plans.

• Demonstrable experience in Financial Planning and Financial Reconciliation.

• Knowledge of Financial Services is essential.

• Certification as a Personal Financial Specialist would be an asset.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
