Robert Half Legal Marketing Assistant– Legal Support in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description A mid-size law firm based in Philadelphia is seeking a candidate to fill a marketing communications position.

This position will provide a wide range of support critical to the overall success of the marketing and business

development team, with a heavy emphasis on communications and writing. Experience in a law firm is a plus.

Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, multifaceted role. This position will report to the Director of

Marketing and Business Development.

Primary Responsibilities

 Maintain and develop written marketing materials, including brochures, practice descriptions,

biographies, website content and other marketing collateral as needed.

 Assist with planning and executing in several marketing areas, including press releases, social media,

event planning, alerts and website maintenance.

 Track and maintain accurate records and provide deliverables for sponsorships, surveys and rankings.

 Uphold a strict level of confidentiality and exercise impeccable discretion.

 Manage, track and report on the status of projects as assigned.

 Administrative and other projects as assigned.

Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

 Excellent writing and proofreading skills are required – thorough knowledge of the AP Style guide is

preferred.

 Prior experience in a law firm or other professional services firm is preferred.

 Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrating initiative and ability

to work independently.

 Ability to develop and maintain a collegial rapport with clients, attorneys and firm leadership.

 Strong organization and prioritization skills with exceptional attention to detail.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of interpersonal skills to handle

sensitive and confidential situations.

 Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy, including responding to inquiries

and providing basic technical explanations or training to all levels of professional and support staff.

 Ability to utilize advanced features of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), CRM

database and other related software.

 Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software (Acrobat Pro, Photoshop and InDesign) and WordPress
