Our recruiting firm is representing a prominent law firm in Center City, Philadelphia, seeking a skilled and compassionate Litigation Attorney / Trial Lawyer with 5-10+ years of experience to join their expanding Sexual Assault Litigation practice. This full-time position as an Associate Attorney, Counsel or Partner offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of sexual assault cases from intake through resolution, providing compassionate and effective legal representation.
Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and develop comprehensive case strategies for litigation and trial.
Work closely with support staff, paralegals, and attorneys to ensure thorough preparation for court proceedings.
Represent clients in courtrooms across Philadelphia and other locations, advocating for their rights during trials, pre-trial motions, depositions, and hearings.
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Conduct detailed legal research to support case strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor / Juris Doctorate (JD / J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association (ABA)-accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (PA) and member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing.
A minimum of 5 years of trial litigation experience, specifically in sexual assault litigation or personal injury law.
Strong trial advocacy skills and a successful track record of courtroom success.
Proficiency in using legal research tools, case management software, and other legal technology platforms.
Admission to practice law in additional states is a plus but not required.
