For the long-term temporary PC Technician role, you will be positioned in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area.
Major responsibilities:
Diagnose, restore, rebuild, and refurbish computer hardware, such as PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and additional IT equipment
Take down, box and ship out of date equipment
Arrange for repairs through the appropriate vendors
Manage and carry out a variety of technology implementation projects
Provide support for functionality testing and end users
Ensure the integrity of all electronic data records by following company quality standards
Track equipment inventory, and suggest and assist with purchases
Handle take down, packaging, transportation and setup/installation on site
Provide documentation of daily data communication transactions, issues and repairs made or installation activities
Image and prepare new computers
Oversee data transfers from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix
Install, troubleshoot and repair printers
Ensure that ticket submitters receive frequent and effective communication
Requirements
1 - 3 years of experience supporting PC and Mac hardware and software, as well as knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is desired
Mac OS experience
Deep understanding of Apple Certified Desktop Technician (ACDT)
Adobe Creative Cloud experience
Mac Computers experience desired
Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
CompTIA A+ certification required
