Are you well versed in interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure? Robert Half is seeking a Network Engineer with a high attention to detail and a passion for the field. Located in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, this Network Engineer role is an opportunity for long-term contract / contract employment.
Your responsibilities in this role
Contribute top-notch support and technical expertise in networking technology such as hubs, bridges, hardware and routers
Collaborate with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on the implementation, optimization and ongoing management of networks
Ensure a secure transfer of data to various locations via internal and external networks
Set up and manage network test facilities
Develop enterprise data, voice, and video networks through the use of traditional and creative methods Requirements - Foundational knowledge in Cisco CCNA
ITIL Processes experience
Cisco Catalyst Switches experience required
Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) experience
Familiar with network design and implementation strategies
