Robert Half International Patient Service Representative in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania
Our client, a Philadelphia health care provider, is searching for a dynamic Patient Service Representative to join their team. As Patient Service Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact with all patients and visitors. Your responsibilities as the Patient Service Representative include but are not limited to:
-Accesses patient schedules from several computerized scheduling systems and ensures that all precertification requirements, pre-approval/pre registrations processes are complete and available.
-Reviews the patient registration record to determine completeness of the information gathered to ensure it is complete based upon Federal and Third Party billing requirements.
-Monitors reports/work lists to ensure all scheduled patient hospital services are authorized prior to service delivery.
-Follows up with insurance companies and providers to obtain resolution of authorization/denial issues.
•1 year Customer Service background especially in a call center
-Insurance Verification background (Use of Navient a MUST plus other insurance portals)
-MUST have EHR experience- NextGen HIGHLY preferred
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
•Data Entry experience preferred
•Excellent Verbal and Written Skills
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•Great organizational skills
