Description
We are in search of a Personal Injury Paralegal to join our client's growing Plaintiff's law firm in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of legal work in the industry, including calendar and case management, document management, and handling legal software. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around complaints, litigation, medical records, motions, and pleadings.
Responsibilities:
• Manage calendars and coordinate meetings, court deadlines, and other events
• Utilize case management software to track, manage, and update legal proceedings
• Handle document management tasks including organizing, storing, and retrieving legal documents as needed
• Efficiently operate legal software to aid in case preparation and management
• Respond to and manage complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Engage in various aspects of litigation including preparation, investigation, and research
• Maintain and manage medical records related to personal injury cases
• Draft, revise, and file motions to aid in the legal process
• Prepare and file pleadings in compliance with court rules and procedures
• Use LexisNexis for legal research and to aid in case preparation
Requirements • Possess a strong understanding of Personal Injury Law and Litigation procedures.
• Proficient in Calendar Management, ensuring all appointments and deadlines are met.
• Able to work with Case Management Software to track and manage legal cases efficiently.
• Capable of handling Complaints professionally, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Experience in Document Management, ensuring all legal documents are correctly filed and easily accessible.
• Knowledge of various Legal Software, contributing to efficient and effective work processes.
• Familiar with LexisNexis for conducting legal research and accessing relevant case laws.
• Experience in managing Medical Records in personal injury cases.
• Ability to draft Motions and Pleadings accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective interaction with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
