Description We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania. This role, within the telecom industry, primarily focuses on testing and ensuring the quality of software applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and tracking quality assurance metrics, executing formal test plans, and delivering quality process training to technical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Establish milestones and monitor adherence to plans and schedules, identifying delivery risks and implementing mitigation strategies and solutions

• Use python scripting for JAVA middleware development, REST, Json, Jenkins, Splunk, Swagger

• Define and execute relevant business scenarios to satisfy real-world business needs

• Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status

• Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements, integrating them into business processes to address the needs of the business

• Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications

• Document all problems and assist in their resolution

• Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners

• Perform quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed

• Use test case management tools like TestRail and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Jscript, VBScript, C#, Python etc. for effective test case automation and execution. Requirements • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role

• Comprehensive understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies and processes

• Proficient in defining and executing test procedures

• Experience in planning processes to identify issues and correct them

• Ability to troubleshoot and determine causes of defects and errors

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Python, and Java

• Familiarity with automation tools and technologies

• Proficiency in using GitHub and Windows OS

• Understanding of REST API and defect management

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to train and guide team members on quality assurance procedures

• Skilled in data analysis and metric reporting

• Knowledge in computer sciences or related field

• Experience working with partners and executing buying processes

• Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently

• Experience with website testing and quality assurance
