Description
There's a career-building opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join an innovative company in a permanent role in the Philadelphia area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing general ledger entries as needed with a heavy emphasis to detail and accuracy, investigating to explain variances, analyzing activity and identifying transactions in a fast-paced environment. We are currently looking for an individual who possess excellent analytical skills and thrives working in a challenging and fast-paced environment while contributing to company growth. Your responsibilities:
Review and assist with managing Accounts Payable responsibilities.
Monthly property reporting to various banks and financial institutions.
Reconciling transactions to Accounts, verifying the accuracy of data posted.
Preparing daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
Ability to communicate well with internal and external parties.
Preparing journal entries, supporting schedules and reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.
Other requirements for the Senior Accountant position include and are not limited to:
3+ years in Financial Statement Reporting, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations & accounting type functions.
Proficient in Yardi accounting software preferred.
Residential real estate industry preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
