Description
Robert Half has an opening for an experienced, driven Senior Accountant to provide leadership and know-how to a growing team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to help you achieve long-term potential within the company. We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills that excels working in a challenging and fast-paced work environment while contributing to the continued success of the firm.
Your responsibilities:
Cash reconciliations
Journal entry preparation and posting
Preparation and analysis of monthly working papers and general ledger account reconciliations
P-card coding and gathering of support
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or actively pursuing CPA designation preferred.
Other requirements for the Senior Accountant position include and are not limited to:
5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with various accounting software and databases, Yardi preferred, but not required
Construction experience preferred
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, and integrity
High attention to detail; ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
