Description
Robert Half is actively searching for a permanent Senior Accounts Payable Analyst to join an innovative team. As the Senior Accounts Payable Analyst, your duties will include handling the payment of approved invoices, either through check issuance, electronic funds transfer, or other payment methods. The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst is also responsible for coordinating the approval process for invoices, ensuring proper authorization and adherence to company policies. The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst role is a permanent position based in the Philadelphia area.
Major responsibilities:
Process Invoices and payments and send for approval (including insurance payables)
Monitor reports (cash position for payments etc.)
Generate payment files (once approved)
Record and review intercompany expenses, loans, and allocations
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accounts Payable Analyst candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.
Other requirements for the Senior Accounts Payable Analyst position include and are not limited to:
3+ years experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with especially strong Excel skills
Good understanding of data analysis and risk management
Ability to work with confidential information
Excellent support skills, ability to work well under pressure, professional demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills.
