Robert Half International Senior Financial Analyst in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania
Description
If you are looking for work as a Senior Financial Analyst and are an outstanding candidate, Robert Half Finance has an open position for you at a fast-growing company. In this Senior Financial Analyst role, you will be responsible for the execution of month-end close and subsequent reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst will also will prepare journal entries and Hyperion Financial Management reporting, be involved in process improvement projects, and prepare ad hoc reporting in support of agency business needs.
Major responsibilities include:
Calculate and book month-end end entries across G& A and Balance Sheet accounts
Manage inter-company recharge arrangements between units; set up recharge jobs, track progress to date, accrue/transfer recharges at month-end and perform final reconciliation if necessary
Provide support for overhead budgeting and forecasting
Run reports to support agency operations; billability, utilization, budget tracking, etc. and provide analysis and insights against benchmarks
Monitor agency expense accounts, highlight trends and propose forecast changes to support future anticipated spend
Requirements
The ideal Senior Financial Analyst will have 3++ years Accounting Experience. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred.
Other requirements for the Senior Financial Analyst position include and are not limited to:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Hyperion or SAP preferred
Problem solver who can identify solutions quickly & think outside the box
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
Work independently in dealing with time pressures and multiple priorities
