Robert Half Senior Staff Accountant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania


Robert Half has an opening for an experienced, driven Senior Staff Accountant to provide leadership and know-how to a growing team. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to help you achieve long-term potential within the company. We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills that excels working in a challenging and fast-paced work environment while contributing to the continued success of the firm.

Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Conduct bank statement and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decision-making.

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and trend analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company regulations.


The ideal Senior Staff Accountant candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Senior Staff Accountant position include and are not limited to:

  • 4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage 100.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
