Robert Half Subrogation Attorney/Lawyer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

Robert Half is seeking licensed attorneys experienced in subrogation/property damage claims review for a 3-6 month project with a top Philadelphia law firm. You will primarily focus on claims handling for our subrogation group, including the review, investigation, and evaluation of claims. This role is within the legal industry and requires a strong understanding of case management software and legal software like LexisNexis. Candidates must be actively licensed in the state they reside.

Responsibilities:

• Review and handle at least 10 claims daily within our subrogation group

• Determine subrogation, coordinate investigation, and provide evaluations

• Escalate complex cases to senior attorneys for further action

• Utilize case management software and legal software like LexisNexis for effective case handling

• Leverage experience in subrogation or insurance defense in daily operations

• Handle property damage claims as part of the role

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation related to all claims

• Administer claim administration and complaint handling processes

• Utilize skills in civil litigation, insurance defense litigation, and briefing as required

• Be proficient in the use of a management system for efficient workflow.

Requirements

• Proficient in the use of legal software such as LexisNexis and Case Management Software.

• Demonstrated experience in civil litigation and insurance defense litigation.

• Skilled in handling complaints and administering claims.

• Adept in subrogation and subrogation claims.

• Familiarity with insurance defense.

• Ability to work with and manage legal case management software.

• Strong skills in articulating legal arguments and drafting legal documents.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.

• Knowledge of legal principles and practices.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Knowledge of court procedures and rules.
