Robert Half International Tax Manager in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania


Our client, an industry leader, is currently seeking a Tax Manager for a full time opportunity. The Tax Manager will be responsible for a variety of aspects of federal and state income tax compliance, including reporting international tax for U.S. purposes, and calculating and reporting tax provisions and disclosure of tax matters under ASC 740. Other responsibilities for the Tax Manager position include and are not limited to:

  • Perform and/or review income and tax compliance, ensuring consistency with tax and regulatory requirements.

  • Calculate all accounting and reporting for income taxes, including compliance with ASC 740 (FAS 109), tracking tax attributes, FIN 48 calculations, and financial statement footnote disclosures.

  • Execute appropriate internal controls over accounting and reporting for income taxes and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.

  • Participate in IRS federal and state income tax examinations.

  • Identify and address tax issues in multiple areas (acquisitions, divestitures, federal, state) and communicates risks appropriately

The ideal Tax Manager candidate will a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance as well as a Master's Degree in Taxation.

Other requirements for the Tax Manager position include and are not limited to:

  • 5++ years' experience in tax compliance, tax accounting, research

  • Technical expertise in Tax Accounting

  • Ability to work with other key finance teams—including controllers’ group, planning and capital assets.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
