Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will manage the accounts payable process, maintain vendor relationships, and support month-end close activities. You will also process a high volume of invoices in compliance with company policies and vendor terms.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices

• Enter invoices into Sage Intacct accurately, ensuring proper account classification and prompt payment processing

• Conduct regular account reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and align with general ledger accounts

• Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely payments

• Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers according to established schedules

• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies

• Provide support for internal and external audits, including documentation and reconciliation of transactions

• Collaborate with the accounting team to identify opportunities for process efficiencies, system enhancements, and best practices

• Assist with month-end close procedures, including preparation of journal entries related to accounts payable. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding

• Mastery of Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Concur

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles

• Proven skills in Auditing

• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions

• Proficient in using Sage Intacct software
