Description
Tommy Zapp with Robert Half is looking to fill an Human Resource Generalist role for a growing manufacturing company. If you are looking to get your start in Human Resources, this is a perfect opportunity for you. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be given a lot of on the job training and knowledge to jump start your Human Resources career. This HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Main responsibilities include comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents and working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees. What you get to do every day
Construct onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Produce official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
Apply HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and absences administration
Create employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees experience
Generate employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities
Build a recruitment plan and calendar according to operation and sales projections
Administer appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addresses employee grievances
Design a system for storing physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
Requirements
Seasoned in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
1+ years of human resources experience
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
Highly organized and self-motivated
Exceptional time management skills preferred
Comfortable developing and managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
