Senior Accountant

Accounting Degree with 3 plus years of experience (include items from below)

Must Have:

  1. Financial Report Package Preparation

  2. Month End/Quarterly Close Responsibilities

  3. General Ledger Review

  4. Variance Analysis and/or commentary

  5. Accruals

  6. Balance Sheet (BS) Tie Out or Reconciliations

Additional Experience Items:

  1. Budget Creation or In-Depth Budget Review

  2. Forecast/Re-Forecast Creation or In-Depth Forecast/Re-Forecast Review

  3. Fixed Asset/Capital/Depreciation Understanding of Methodology and Calculations

  4. Bank Reconciliation Experience

  5. Audit/Compliance Experience

12.Property Management or Commercial/Retail Real Estate Experience

Requirements - Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports

  • Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

  • Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

  • Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance

  • Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Experience with ERP systems

  • Property accounting experience

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent

  • Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers

  • This position is suitable for candidates that are proficient in financial reporting systems

  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
