Staff Accountant - Hiring NOW!

Are you a passionate about accounting, with an eye for detail and a knack for numbers? Our company is seeking a Staff Accountant who can bring their ability to keenly review, analyze, and report financial information. Key Responsibilities:

• Allow and authenticate bank fund transfers and deposits.

• Lead the process of giving credit card customers their deserved refunds.

• Handle the issuance of insurance premiums to related carriers and agents.

• Closely review journal entries, on a monthly basis, as well as cash and bank reconciliations.

• Compare and resolve any differences within our monthly Income Statements.

• Apply your problem-solving skills to reconcile any discrepancies found during reconciliations.

• Prepare and present supporting documents for auditing endeavors such as tax, external auditor checks or carrier auditor reviews as needed.

• Provide assistance to our team in responding to emails from underwriters or agents in a prompt manner.

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Ideally, you have a four-year degree within an accounting or closely related field. • If you have 2-4 years' experience in an accounting role, you could be a perfect fit.

• You’ll get a gold star if you’ve worked before with accounting software like NetSuite, Oracle, SmartView, or Concept One.

• Your mastery in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook, is a big plus.

• Being an effective communicator and extremely organized are your strong points.

• You’re patient, have a meticulous eye and don’t lose sight of the small print or deadlines.
