Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Plaintiff's Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our team in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area. As part of our Legal team, you will be instrumental in handling personal injury pre-litigation case management. Your responsibilities will include drafting demand letters, requesting medical records, and moving a high volume of cases to settlement. Our client has offices open in Tolleson, Mesa, Glendale and the Biltmore area.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the drafting of demand letters for personal injury cases
• Request and organize medical records as needed for case management
• Manage a high volume of cases, taking appropriate steps to move them towards settlement
• Utilize case management software to keep track of case progress
• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis
• Handle complaints and claims administration as required
• Manage calendars and ensure all case deadlines are met
• Perform briefing and other legal documentation tasks
• Use LexisNexis for legal research and case preparation
• Perform billing functions as necessary.
Requirements
• At least 2 years of Arizona experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role in the Legal industry
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Case Management Software
• Familiarity with Legal databases like LexisNexis
• Experience in handling Management System
• Knowledge of Billing Functions, Briefing, Calendar Management, Claim Administration, and Complaint Handling
• Experience in working with Personal Injury Plaintiffs
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Law or relevant field.
