Robert Half currently has a contract to hrie opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic, innovative team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every day
Ad-hoc projects as required
Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Requirements - Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
ERP system experience
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
General ledger experience desired
Adeptness in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Demonstrated knowledge of KPI Reporting
Month end closings experience preferred
Expertise in journal entries
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Adjusting Journal Entries experience
5+ years of overall general accounting experience
Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate
A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Expertise in financial reporting
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
