Robert Half Project Accountant in Pine Bluff, Arkansas

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Project Accountant within the manufacturing industry, located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting functions, who will be responsible for processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

• Utilize accounting software systems to process financial transactions

• Maintain accurate records of all financial activities

• Work with ADP - Financial Services for effective management of accounts

• Use Deltek and Deltek Vision systems for project accounting tasks

• Apply knowledge of Costpoint and About Time for efficient accounting operations

• Conduct auditing activities to ensure financial compliance

• Resolve customer inquiries related to financial matters

• Take appropriate action on customer accounts based on monitoring results

• Ensure all accounting functions are performed in accordance with industry standards Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Experience with Costpoint is a must

• Knowledge of Deltek and Deltek Vision is necessary

• Familiarity with About Time software is a plus

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is required

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prior experience in Auditing is preferred

• Ability to work in a manufacturing industry environment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills

• Solid problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
