Description
We are in search of a Collections Specialist to join our team in the Middlesex County, NJ area. As a Collections Specialist, you will be tasked with the responsibility of managing customer accounts, particularly dealing with past due receivables and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any arising disputes efficiently.
• Conduct approximately 30 collection calls daily to customers with past due accounts.
• Maintain an up-to-date tracking system for follow-up dates.
• Execute the approval process for parts, service, and rentals within the assigned credit limit.
• Carry out negotiations for approvals and payments as necessary.
• Inform management or sales personnel of any delinquent accounts.
• Prepare and document accounts for Bad Debt as required.
Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Collection Processes.
• Proven experience in managing and executing Collections.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in task execution.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using various accounting software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
