We are seeking a meticulous Medical Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Pittsburg, Kansas. This role revolves around managing and organizing medical data in the healthcare industry. You will be required to input data into electronic health record systems, maintain accurate records, handle billing functions, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate data entry and management of medical information into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) system and other EHR systems.

• Utilize IBM AS/400 and McKesson systems to carry out data management tasks effectively.

• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation.

• Manage billing functions, including claim administration, to ensure efficient processes.

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

• Regularly update documentation to maintain the accuracy of records.

• Implement Health Information Management (HIM) practices to ensure the security and confidentiality of patient data.

• Collaborate with the team to manage and maintain health information systems effectively.

• Uphold the standards of data entry and maintain the quality of data in the system.

Requirements • Proficiency in using Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)

• Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM

• Experience with IBM AS/400

• Competency in using McKesson software

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Billing Functions

• Knowledge in Claim Administration

• Strong Customer Service skills

• Proven ability in Data Entry

• Excellent Documentation skills

• Familiarity with HIM systems

• Experience in Health Information Management
