Robert Half International Bookkeeper in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania


A growing technology company located in Plum is seeking part-time bookkeeping & administrative support!

We are seeking a Part-time Bookkeeper to assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and administrative duties. The preferred work schedule would be Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 8am-5pm with an unpaid 1-hour lunch break. Additional hours may be available in the future as the company continues to grow!

The responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts Payable including billing to their customers, applying payments to AR accounts, assisting with the collection of unpaid invoices

  • Accounts Payable duties will consist of entering and paying invoices

  • Other bookkeeping duties will include Bank Reconciliations, reviewing and approving timesheets, and assisting with reporting

  • Administrative duties will include helping to prioritizing customer requests and managing schedules for IT requests, filing and assisting with paperwork, and customer service related tasks

  • Office Management tasks will include ordering office supplies, scheduling office maintenance

Help with paperwork, helping to schedule office visits, managing the phone system, setting up incoming messages, and managing the email systems

In order to complete the above responsibilities, you will be utilizing QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and t-sheets (for timekeeping). Prior experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft programs are required!

This accounting and administrative role will be ONSITE at their office located in Plum!

  • 2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper or in a role where you assisted with accounting and administrative duties

  • Demonstrated knowledge of back office support and administrative support duties

  • Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks

  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) responsibilities

  • Experience with bank reconciliations

  • Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word experience
