Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Description We are in search of a diligent Customer Service Representative to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role centers around providing excellent customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced airport environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for verifying rental agreements, providing optional sales items, maintaining security measures, and resolving rental contract and vehicle issues. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and complete necessary rental information by scanning and checking the rental agreement using the handheld unit.

• Verify customer identification and vehicle movement by scanning the vehicle asset tag and checking the tags.

• Disclose rates, terms, and conditions of rental to customers, and obtain customer signatures using approved sales techniques.

• Uphold location and company security measures to mitigate theft of company assets.

• Monitor lot to ensure smooth transition of vehicles exiting through security gate.

• Assist customers with directions, and review and resolve rental contract and vehicle issues.

• Manually log and release vehicles from lot during computer system outages or unavailability.

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in customer service

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and issues

• Proficient in using customer service software and platforms

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience in a customer service role would be advantageous

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools

• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
