Managing accounts receivable, month-end closing, accounts payable, and reconciliation are important tasks in the Bookkeeper role. Furthermore, the Bookkeeper is responsible for a full cycle A/P, data entry, cash applications, coding, light journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. Your responsibilities

  • Other distinguished projects when necessary

  • Organize cash flow projections, as needed

  • Guide monthly accounting close

  • Experience with Accounts Receivable

  • Update Accounts Payable

  • Set up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Sustain monthly accounting close

  • Organize sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Skilled in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Provide monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Organize general ledger Requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Account reconciliation experience desired

  • Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred

    • 3+ years of related experience- Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

  • Self-starter and strong ethical standards

  • The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills

    • Significant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
