Description
We’re excited to offer a temporary-to-permanent employment opportunity for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is essential in supporting our financial operations within the non-profit sector. The ideal candidate will handle financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and respond to account-related inquiries. Additionally, you’ll oversee accounts and take action as needed to ensure our financial accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable functions with efficiency and accuracy
Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain financial precision
Keep the General Ledger up-to-date with accurate entries
Prepare and record Journal Entries in alignment with accounting standards
Assist with Month-End Close to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Use Abila MIP software for various accounting tasks

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately.
• Profound knowledge of General Ledger management.
• Experience in creating and maintaining Journal Entries.
• Demonstrable ability to conduct Month End Close procedures.
• Familiarity with Abila MIP accounting software is essential.
