Description
This long-term temporary to hire Collections/Tax Specialist position is available in Downtown Pittsburgh.
This position is 100% onsite.
Key responsibilities of the Collections/Tax Specialist include:
Oversee and update customer files to ensure data consistency
Handle Earned Income Tax Credits by reviewing returns and posting to accounts
Act as liaison in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries
Guarantee payments are processed
Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for
Log all customer payments to the correct reports
Assist with administrative and general office tasks

Requirements
• Experience in a similar role as a Collections Specialist or related position
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally
• Experience in handling personal property tax matters is a plus
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
