To support the company's objectives as Senior Accountant, you will prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, produce budgets and forecasting, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

  • Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

  • Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

  • Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Partake in various department-wide initiatives

  • Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

  • Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) Requirements - Great attention to detail

  • Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

  • Vow to meet business deadlines

  • Knowledge of account reconciliation

  • Foundational knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting

  • Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

  • Adeptness in Annual Financial Reporting

  • Proficiency in cost accounting

  • Solid understanding of general ledger

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Exceptional time management skills preferred

  • Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

  • Experience with ERP systems

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

  • Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

  • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
