Description
Robert Half has partnered with one of the US largest providers of interior design & finish solutions to find their next Senior Accountant.
Essential Functions:
Month-End and Year-End Close: Coordinate and execute month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare and review, if needed, journal entries, and perform necessary adjustments.
Perform flux analysis, account reconciliations and transactional research monthly and on an ad-hoc basis.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, ensuring compliance and providing necessary documentation.
Process Improvement and Systems Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
Actively participate in system implementations or upgrades related to financial systems, providing subject matter expertise and user support.
Team Collaboration and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to entry level accounting staff, fostering their detail oriented development and growth.
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as finance, operations, and legal to support strategic initiatives and address financial matters.
Serve as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations on accounting principles, policies, and best practices.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelors in Accounting
3-5+ years of accounting experience
Large ERP experience (SAP)
Cost & Manufacturing or Project Accounting experience with Inventory
Nice to have:
Public Accounting experience in Audit
CPA/CPA Candidate
Revenue Recognition/ASC 606 experience
