Robert Half Sr. IT Auditor in Plano, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. IT Auditor in PLANO, Texas, in the Financial Services sector. The Sr. IT Auditor will play a crucial role in conducting audits of technology controls, reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of IT procedures, and ensuring compliance with policies. This role will also involve supporting the audit team in planning audits and evaluating inherent and residual risks.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and perform audits pertaining to IT and technology aspects of operational audits.
• Provide advice on internal controls and evaluate systems under development.
• Follow up on previous audits to address concerns and issues.
• Create audit programs based on assessed risks, internal controls, bank policy, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and distribute formal reports of audit results to management.
• Participate in risk assessment activities and undertake special projects as assigned.
• Collaborate with external consultants and audit providers on selected audit projects.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships while assisting in the growth of less experienced staff.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as required or assigned. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Demonstrated ability to handle Audit Programs
• Proficiency in using CaseWare
• Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx is a must
• Understanding and application of CobiT
• Familiarity with various Accounting Functions
• Proven experience in managing Audit Engagements
• Ability to effectively communicate Audit Findings
