Robert Half Cash Application Specialist in Plantation, Florida
Description We are looking for a Cash Application Specialist to join our team in the insurance industry, based in Plantation, Florida. The role involves focusing on cash applications, collections, payment posting, data entry, and account reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise customer credit records
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Handle B2B collections to ensure smooth financial transactions
• Perform data entry and documentation tasks to maintain accurate records
• Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Cash Applications
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with Pivot Table and VLOOKUP functionalities
• Prior experience in B2B collections
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to perform account reconciliation
• Knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and latest best practices
• High ethical standards and professionalism in all business interactions.
