Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk based in Pleasanton, California. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be a part of our service industry team, focusing on the financial operations and cash management. You will be tasked with auditing daily cash handling, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and maintaining clear records.

Responsibilities:

• Audit daily cash and credit card deposits for assigned stores

• Identify and analyze discrepancies between bank data and store records

• Resolve issues related to cash handling by collaborating with store management and reviewing bank deposits

• Prepare and present weekly reports detailing cash audit findings for Operations Team meetings

• Perform ad hoc tasks and reports as needed to support the Cash Management team

• Cross-train with other Cash Management team members to ensure coverage during staff absences

• Monitor daily cash deposits against POS systems and reconcile any discrepancies.

Skills:

• Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Data Entry

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Strong Customer Service Skills

• Experience in Cash Management

• Proficiency in Daily Cash Management.

Requirements

• Possession of expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven experience in Customer Service

• Prior experience in Cash Management

• Proficiency in handling Daily Cash Management tasks

• Familiarity with standard accounting principles and procedures
