Description
Our client is a dynamic and growing company seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Accountant to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with strong technical skills, a desire to learn, and a passion for accounting. As a temp-to-hire position, this opportunity provides a pathway to a permanent role for the right candidate who demonstrates growth and dedication.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry and account reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Help maintain and update financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Analyze financial data and generate reports for management review.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes as needed.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
Learn and utilize company-specific accounting software and tools effectively.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or relevant coursework completed).
Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups).
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset.
