Description
Robert Half is looking for a Payment Specialist for one of our clients in the banking industry—if you want to join a dynamic, fast-growing team, you are encouraged to apply!
In this role, you will enhance and sustain the bank relationship with members by managing electronic ACH payment files, check clearing files, returns, and wire requests.
Responsibilities:
Generate, manage, and post Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, check clearings, returns, and related exceptions.
Handle online banking ACH external transfers, ACH stop payments, and WSUTs.
Execute member domestic and international wire transactions.
Support member check deposits via mail and mobile deposit channels.
Provide assistance for employee inquiries related to Digital Payments and online banking ACH transfers.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and branches to ensure efficient and high-quality service for members.
Maintain a professional demeanor and foster positive relationships within the organization and with members.
Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the credit union’s products and services.
Ensure adherence to Federal and State laws, credit union banking regulations, and banking policies and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of ACH and wire processing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with Federal and State banking regulations.
Proficiency in online banking systems and mobile deposit processes.
