Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in Plymouth, Michigan
Description We are looking for an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team located in ANN ARBOR, Michigan. This role will primarily involve handling various aspects of litigation, legal research, and client relationship management. You will be working in a diverse practice environment that includes commercial and civil litigation, divorce and family law, criminal, real estate, estate planning, and probate.
Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of litigation including drafting and filing complaints, pleadings, and motions
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Independently manage a case load and meet set deadlines
• Build and foster client relationships through excellent customer service
• Coordinate with paralegals to ensure efficient case management
• Prioritize and multi-task to effectively manage workload
• Draft demands for settlement and litigation
• Conduct the attorney portion of new client intakes
• Manage a docket of cases ensuring all cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
Skills required include Family Law and Criminal Defense. Requirements • Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must be an active member of the State Bar Association in good standing
• Proven experience as an attorney, specifically in Family Law and Criminal Defense
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to interpret and apply complex laws and regulations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in legal research and writing
• High ethical standards and professional integrity
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
