Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Pomona, California
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Pomona, California. This role involves managing all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll for our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and proficiency in using a variety of software including QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately processing accounts payable and receivable
• Conducting bank deposits and reconciliations
• Processing end of year statements and working through the trial balance
• Verifying timesheets and tabulating payroll
• Utilizing QuickBooks for various accounting functions
• Taking payments and sending out bills
• Forecasting expenses and income
• Leveraging proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites for various tasks
• Applying knowledge of accounting functions in the construction industry
• Using ADP - Financial Services for various financial services-related tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Experience with Billing Functions
• Knowledge of Construction industry accounting is a plus
• Experience in Payroll processing
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
